Hungarian Festival Arizona 2026
The Hungarian Festival in Phoenix on March 8 drew over a thousand visitors, featuring a Crossroads Band concert, a ukulele workshop, and a warm atmosphere of food, tradition, and cultural exchange.
Jössz táncolni! – Film Screening
The documentary Come to Dance! was screened on February 28 at the Hungarian Reformed Church in Newark, followed by a virtual discussion with the director exploring folk dance, gender roles, tradition, and community.

At the Eszterlánc Dance House on January 31, the Crossroads Band had the special opportunity to share the stage with Canada’s Gyanta Band for two folk-song arrangements — an inspiring and joyful musical collaboration.

Eszterlánc Christmas Fair
A festive Christmas market at the San Francisco Bay Area Hungarian Cultural Center marked a successful first step toward a new tradition. With caroling, music, crafts, food, and a strong community presence, the event brought together performers, vendors, and visitors of all ages.

Fourth Hawaii Diaspora Camp
The IV. Hawaii Diaspora School Camp took place November 26–30, 2025, on the northern shore of Oahu, during the Thanksgiving period. Beáta Balog and Attila Egyedi, representing the Crossroads Band and Crossroads Music and Arts Foundation, led daily folk dance and music sessions — including ukulele instruction and campfire singing — for children and adults alike. The week-long program was built around the animated film Szaffi, weaving together Hungarian cultural heritage, crafts, and hands-on creativity, and concluded with a closing gala where participants performed everything they had learned.
